Here in Clongriffin Town, we’re lucky to have a close-knit business community serving not only our hometown but the surrounding areas too. Since 2008, the Carry Out Off Licence here in Clongriffin Town has remained a pillar of the community, despite opening its doors right on the cusp of the Irish economic collapse. Owner Peter Reynolds persevered during the tougher times encouraging foot traffic with local deals and special offers, alongside stellar customer service.
As a result, he and Carry Out Clongriffin Town celebrated a successful 10 years in business this past July (locals might remember a particularly good tasting night Peter held on July 6th!).
Carry Out Clongriffin Town is one of over one hundred Carry Out licenses around the country. For the last three years the off-licence parent company, The Barry Group, has hosted an annual competition between all franchises nationwide, with Carryout Clongriffin coming out on top each year. This years awards, which took place in October, saw Peter’s store take home the ‘2018 Craft Beer Department Store of the Year’ and ‘2018 Regional Store of the Year’ - which he believes is a testament to the level of dedication put in by his staff, especially Manager Shane Davis, and of course the support of loyal customers!

Reynolds enjoys being part of the Clongriffin Town business community, noting it as a positive experience and he looks forward to more business moving into the community over the coming years; “We’re only seeing the start of the development kicking off now again, the next few years will be an exciting time especially for businesses who were here before the recession kicked in.”
Carry Out Off Licence Clongriffin is located at 9 Main Street, and is open 7 days per week (Sunday - Thursday 12.30 pm - 10 pm, Friday & Saturday 12 pm - 10 pm).
